Leunca has a myriad of benefits, from relieving dizziness to cancer

KONTAN.CO.ID – LEUNCA is a vegetable that is very well known in the community. In Javanese it is called Ranti or Bobosa in the Maluku language. The Latin name for leunca is Solanum Nigrum L, and classified in the family solanaceae (pumpkin).

The leunca plant originated from Europe and West Asia, then spread widely through Malaysia. In addition, leunca has been used as medicine for more than 2,000 years.

In Indonesia, leunca is widely consumed as fresh vegetables or vegetables, usually in Sundanese dishes. Compiled from a number of sources, leunca which is small round, is believed to have properties for various diseases.
