7 benefits of goat's milk, is it more efficacious than cow's milk?

Goat milk can be an alternative to cow’s milk because it is rich in essential nutrients, is easier to digest, and is lower in lactose.

This functions in maintaining a regular heart rate, preventing the formation of blood clots and increasing good cholesterol. A 2005 study published in the Journal of Dairy Science found that consumption of goat’s milk increased good cholesterol levels and lowered bad cholesterol levels.

2. Support bone health

Goat milk is rich in calcium, an important mineral that helps strengthen bones and teeth. Because goat’s milk has a higher calcium content than cow’s milk, consuming goat’s milk will provide adequate amounts of calcium and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.

A study published in the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research shows that drinking fresh goat’s milk increases calcium levels and prevents the risk of osteoporosis. Goat milk also contains medium chain fatty acids, which play a major role in the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, two important minerals that help maintain bone health.

3. Lowering inflammation

Research has shown that goat’s milk has anti-inflammatory properties that can help fight inflammation. Animal studies have found that goat’s milk contains oligosaccharides which exhibit anti-inflammatory effects on colitis and hence, may be useful in managing inflammatory bowel disease.

4. Treating anemia
