5 health benefits of peaches that are rarely realized

Peaches contain antioxidants that can prevent cancer cell growth. This fruit is known to effectively protect the body against lung, intestinal and oral cancer.

The content of phenolic acid contained in peaches, which are also known as chlorogenic and nonchlorogenic acids, can stop the growth of breast cancer cells without damaging other normal cells.

A scientist from Washington State University found that compounds in peaches (peaches) can inhibit the growth and spread of breast cancer cells.

“Cancer cells implanted under the skin of mice with aggressive breast cancer cells such as MDA-MB-435 demonstrated inhibition of metastasis when mice consumed peach extract,” wrote AgriLife Research-based food scientist, ‘Dr. Luis Cisneros-Zevallos in the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry.
